YOU SHOULD PROBABLY KNOW, that I love to be critical. No, no, no. Let me rephrase that. I love to be honest. I don’t give out fake praise, and I judge something based on its own qualities and merits, not simply because I am a long time supporter of a certain subject (or anything else, for that matter). In fact, I may seem kind of “harsh” in my reviews at times, but that’s merely because I’m committed to honesty and, of course, frankness. Hype doesn’t alter me, and, although on other sites, I can seem a die-hard fan of some of the television shows I review, I’m still going pick them apart. That's how I work. That’s how it goes.
Reviews will never be 'thrown' together. While they are pieces often written for fun, I take what I do seriously and attempt to be sincere though appropriately judgmental.
Anything that is reviewed is awarded a score from 0 to 10. If an item receives a score of 8.5 to 8.9, it receives a Bronze Award. A rating of 9 to 9.4 merits a Silver Award, while a 9.5 to 9.9 grants it a Gold Award. Finally, in the rare chance that something is impressive enough to warrant a score of 10, it is adorned with a Platinum Award. A 10, however, does not mean that a product is perfect, as that is an impossible goal. They are merely successful in everything that they do, and any visible flaws are not worth mentioning or will do nothing to hamper a user's experience with it. They are, in a word, brilliant.
